Developing a Safety Policy. This essential health and safety documentation and information may be obtained via a course, as a consultancy project or a combination of the two. The main objective is to enable managers' to develop a Safety Policy which is 'suitable and Sufficient' for their particular workplace, meeting their legal obligations under health and safety law.
The Course
Candidates will be given appropriate information on why and how a Safety Policy should be developed. Normally lasting 3-4 hours, the course covers current health and safety legal requirements, appointing and working with Safety Representatives', and looks at the essential ingredients required for a sucessful Safety Policy, including how to document, monitor and communicate the Policy within the organisation.
Consultancy Project
Lack of time and resources may mean it's easier to hand over the development of a Safety Policy to someone else. ARC Learning Ltd. can help. Let us do all the work for you, as a Consultancy Project. Alternatively, you may prefer to do a little of both! Candidates may attend a Policy Development course, and then have their own Safety Policy document and processes vetted by one of our experienced health and safety consultants', just to make sure it does the job intended, and meets with the legal requirements.
