This is a 2 - 3 hour course ideal for any workplace situation.
Fire prevention is an important obligation for all businesses. Not only are people at work at risk from fire, but visitors, neighbours, residents/service users and anyone else who may be in the vicinity. Every year fires break out, destroying businesses, property, and causing serious injuries and fatalities.
The course, delivered by either a qualified safety officer, or experience fire prevention officer, outlines:
Fire hazards and the causes of fire
Fire prevention
Detectors and alarms
Evacuation routes and procedures
Fire fighting (does not include the use of fire extinguishers)
Fire Fighting
This course should ideally be run in conjunction with the Fire Safety Awareness course.
Learn how to use the fire fighting equipment in your workplace. This short course looks at how to use a range of fire fighting equipment, safely and appropriately. Includes the use of fire extinguishers. All courses are run by an experienced fire safety officer.
