This is a half day course focusing on the storage, use and handling of hazardous substances which may be found in the workplace or domestic home environment. Course content includes:

Types of hazardous substances
Routes of entry and effects upon the human body
Preventing accidents and ill health
Assessing the risks
Controling exposure
Storage
This course is ideal for all staff who come into contact with cleaning fluids, chemicals used in the workplace, or those working near gasses, fumes or dusts. Courses are delivered by a qualified health & safety officer.
