Return to Work Assements & Advice
In line with our Ergonomic Assessment service, ARC Learning Ltd. provides advice to organisations for valued employees returning to work following sickness absence, or with a progressive / debilitating illness.
Having put time, effort and money into staff development, the last thing any employer wants is to loose skilled employees. Recruitment costs, re training and time spent familiarising new employees to the workplace is very time consuming and expensive. However some employees require adjustments to their working environment in order to remain at work having been injured or diagnosed with a debilitating condition. It is essential that these adaptations meet the needs of the employee, and fall within the capabilities of the employing organisation; this is where Ergonomic Return to Work Assessments are invaluable.
Health and safety officers are often charged with the responsibility of conducting these assessments. However, with limited knowledge of medical conditions', disease processes, psychology or occupational ergonomics in general, it is easy for excellent safety officers to miss essential risk assessment factors.
ARC Learning Ltd. has a registered nurse, qualified as a safety officer and occupational health ergonomist, who undertakes all return to work assessments. With over 5 years experience working in Occupational Health & Safety, and Human Resources, the experience and clinical skills are there to help employers and employees achieve cost effective, practical solutions.
